Rotary District 6400 Flash Mob Millennium Park
Detroit Rotarian Liz Smith conceived, planned, directed, produced this spectacular Rotary Event plus made this video. (Soon these videos will be on the video page)
Rotarians of District 6400 visited Chicago's Millennium Park from Michigan, USA and Ontario, Canada to Freeze in Place to draw awareness to the End Polio Now Campaign. They held their hands to indicate that we are 'This Close' to the end of polio on the planet. At the conclusion of the freeze, all revealed their bright red "End Polio Now' shirts to the curious onlookers.
Liz would like to give a Special Thanks shout-out to Paul Charbonneau, who suggested the 'This Close' position, photographers Brandi Towar and Bob Gallagher, and additional videographers Donna Schmidt, Kathy Kane, and Soni Colton.
