David is a resident of Canton, MI and member of the Wayne Rotary Club since 1977.
 
David is the current treasurer of the Wayne Rotary Foundation and club historian. David was the Wayne Rotary Club Past President 1983-1984 and 2003-2004. He has served District 6400 as an Assistant District Governor, PETS trainer and a member of several district committees. David is a Multiple Major Donor to The Rotary Foundation and a charter member of the Bequest Society and the Paul Harris Society.
 
David is an insurance agent and owns his own agency in Westland, MI. He is currently the grant chairman of the Wayne "100" Club, a member of the Wayne-Westland Community School District Reading Advisory Council. He has served on several school improvement teams.

He has been Santa for the cities of Wayne and Garden City and visited elementary schools in Westland, Ypsilanti and New Boston. He has a jolly laugher that makes it very easy to be that famous person at Christmas time. He had over 1000 children visit him during the last Christmas Season. He has also coached little league football and soccer.
 
David has been married for 31 years to Lynn, and they have three adult sons. The family has hosted four exchange students and many GSE team members. All the family members are Paul Harris Fellows.

He ws the top bidder for a Quilt that was made by women in Alaska under the direction of Trustee Carolyn Jones!
