Mary is an educator with 35 years of experience teaching music education in elementary and middle school. After retiring from her career as a music educator, she continues in her role as financial officer of their family owned business, Resources Unlimited Company, Inc. Mary’s husband, Pat, provides specialty engineering and related fabrication services to the industrial glass community. Pat has 45 years of experience working with the glass industry and specializes in troubleshooting the glass manufacturing process.
Both Mary and Pat joined the Rotary Club of Carleton in 1988. Mary served as the Club’s president in 1991-1992 and since 1994 has served as the Club’s Foundation Chair. On the District level, Mary has served as the District Grant Chair from 2007-2011, the Dean of Assistant Governors, and as an Assistant Governor. Mary has also been the recipient of the Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service award, the COG award, the District Service Award and the Rotarian of the Year award. Mary and Pat have participated in a National immunization Day for Polio in India and Ghana, as well as been involved in several Matching Grant projects throughout Central America and India.
Mary and Pat are both members of the Boy Scouts of America Great Sauk Trail Council Executive Board. Mary is presently serving as the Council Advancement Chair, a position that she has held for 17years. Both Mary and Pat are recipients of the prestigious Boy Scout Silver Beaver Award.
Mary and Pat share a love for their four children, their spouses, and their four grandchildren. They like swimming, traveling and being active in their community. They have also enjoyed hosting members from 12 GSE teams and are Major Donors and benefactors of the Rotary Foundation.
