The Rotary world received a wonderful birthday gift this morning – Three new members.
It was my distinct honor and privilege to induct Greg Martinez, Pat Zucal and Bill Friske in to the Livonia AM club.
This small and mighty Rotary Club started the year with eight members and today marked the induction of number 13.
Kudos to all the members and especially to Chuck Dardas for sharing his passion for our amazing organization.

Cameroon West Africa Medical Supplies

The Livonia AM Rotary Club , employees from Alpha Stamping in Livonia, our Churchill High School Rotary Interact CLub, and St. Mary's Hospital sent a large amount of medical supplies and medical equipment to Bawock via container last fall. When Rotarian Dr Stanley visited his village during the Christmas holidays, the supplies and equipment arrived in the village. These pictures show the supplies being received by the villagers who are standing in front of the medical clinic we helped to pay for.
We are getting ready to send more equipment (exam tables, wheelchairs, crutches, and hospital bed) via container this spring to the village to complete the outfitting of the clinic and funds to complete the maternity clinic and water pump installation. Dr Stanley will be visiting there in August to supervise this work and construction of a new nursery school.
