Gibraltar Rotary Club

Meets at Mirage Restaurant

29010 N. Gibraltar Rd

Wednesday 7:30 AM

The president of the Rotary Club of Gibraltar for 2011-2012 is Jim McManus. Jim is retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He has only been in Rotary for one year and has already agreed to take on this important leadership role in the club. The Gibraltar Club meets Wednesdays at 7:30am at the Mirage Restaurant in Gibraltar. They currently have approximately 24 members.
This club is involved in projects locally and internationally. The club supported a bridge project in Thailand, where a bridge was constructed to enable children to attend school. Before the bridge, children had to cross a river, waist deep, in order to reach school. Gibraltar Rotary also supports youth in their own community through high school scholarships, team uniforms for alternative high school basketball players, a “green” project at the local high school, community Halloween party, and coats for those in need.
To raise funds for these projects, Gibraltar Rotary has many fundraisers, including a Muskrat Dinner, golf outing, boat show, fishing tournament and 4th of July Festival.
