The Rotary Club of Adrian
The president of the Rotary Club of Adrian for 2011-2012 is Kathye Herrara. Kathye, a 6 year Rotarian, is retired but was in Youth Services as Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters. The Adrian Club meets Thursdays at noon at the Lenawee Country Club in Adrian. They currently have approximately 58 members. They focus primarily on local projects, one of which is a Literacy Fair at the local mall. This is a great event with lots of activities for families with give-aways of books and more. After the tragedy in Japan, they donated $5000 through the sister club in Morijama, who took the money directly to people that needed it. One of Adrian’s main fundraisers is the Christmas tree and wreath sale each December. Most of these funds go to the Boys and Girls Club o Lenaweee. Need to do a make-up? Come on out to the Rotary Club of Adrian! |
