57th Annual Meet the Governor Nite The Meet the Governor Nite is one of the major highlights of Super District 6400! The 57th Annual Meet the Governor Nite was held at the Cameos Portuguese Club in Harrow, Ontario. The Harrow Rotary Club was the host. Co-chairs were Ginger Pollard and Jill Marontate. A packed hall of over 250 smiling Rotarians enjoyed lots of splendid fellowship, Red Pop and a family style dinner. Everyone sang the Canadian and US National Anthems with great gusto. PDG Fred Sorrell was super animated as he led the sing song. Everyone join in loud cheers as their Rotary Club was announced! DG Neil Mcbeth said his out going speech. Thanked all the Rotarians for their service to humanity in 2009- 10. He recognized AG Wayne Titus for his service for the past three years. DG Neil and everyone recognized PDG Jack Mueller for his Bill Ives LIfe AChievement Award! DG Kim Towar gave her incoming speech. She emphasized a few goals and to be the cheering champion for all District 6400 Rotary Clubs. DG Neil pinned the Governor Pin on DG Kim. DG Neil received his Governor Award Plaque and Past District Governor Pin. Harrow Rotary Club President John Macpherson received his Past President Pin from PRID Bill Ives. |
