Huron Township Rotary Club - Harley Motorcycle Raffle At the Apple Fest in New Boston the very hard working Huron Township Rotary Club sold around 3,000 raffle tickets in 2 days as well as over 200 pies. We also gave away over 600 pies, one with each 5 tickets for $20.00 sale. They sell raffle tickets year around at many swap meets and festivals! We are still counting but as of now we have given donations to other clubs over $10,000.00 this year. We give other clubs that want to sell tickets for us $1.50 for each ticket they sell. We believe that it not only builds good fellowship between our club and those that sell our tickets. It also provides those clubs with a quick and easy way to make a few extra dollars for a special project. Some of those clubs that sell our tickets, it is their major fundraiser. Maybe next year we can get a few other clubs involved and give even more money out. Some of the Rotary Clubs that we work with are Allen Park, Lincoln Park, Wyandotte, Gibraltar, Livonia AM, Wayne, Clinton and a couple of local American Legion groups.
