Alumni Dinner - 2010
A Night at the Museum More than 100 guests (Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike) enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Detroit Historical Museum celebrating International Service.
Former Group Study Exchange team members, Ambassadorial Scholars and other RI Grant recipients, along with those who have traveled on missions on their own, shared stories of making the world a little better place. This was a wonderful celebration of Service above Self.
PRID Michael McCullough and President Nominee Michael Angelo Caruso were the amazing featured speakers.
Big thanks to Penny Oglesby and her trusty group of helpers for making the evening a resounding success. Several Interact students were also in attendance, lending a helping hand.
The Governor says that her inspiration for this event is (now deceased) PRID Frank Sladen, who introduced her to International service and to the importance of recognizing those who are dedicated to further the ideals of Rotary.
