Taylor Rotary - State of the City The Taylor Rotary Club sponsored the annual Taylor State of the City event. Many Rotarians and over 80 visitors attended. Taylor Mayor Cameron Preibe was the featured speaker. Members of the Taylor Council, Taylor Board of Education, District Court Judges, many Taylor Government Managers, Governor Granholm representatives and many business people were in attendance. After a quick lunch that was served by the Lakes of Taylor staff, PDG Larry Wright recognized long time Taylor Volunteers Patty Donahue & Sue and Leo Kuschel with a special Taylor Rotary Community Service Award. Then Rotarian Erin Dobbins introduced the Mayor. He spoke honestly about the financial situation and operating budget challenges that the City of Taylor faces. The Mayor recognize many fellow City of Taylor employees and other volunteers who are stepping up to meet the challenges of local government management.
