Taylor Rotary Club - Fishing Derby The 20th Annual Taylor Rotary Club Fishing Derby is a wonderful event for the youngsters of Taylor, MI. Was held on a Sunday morning at Heritage Park. More 80 children along with their families enjoyed three hours of fishing. The Taylor Rotary Club donated many new fish, breakfast snack and drinks, fishing derby t-shirts, set-up, collecting caught fish and cleanup. A very special prize was presented by Elmer DePlanche, a former Taylor resident who travels to the city annually from Lake Placid, Florida, to serve as weigh master. Elmer presented a large very weel preserved alligator skeleton head. |
