Taylor Rotary Club - Putt Putt The 8th annual Taylor Rotary Club Indoor Putt Putt Tournament was held at the Taylor Meadows Golf Club House. The Chairman was Chris Coffman. There was a Junior Tournament prior to the Senior Tournament The children had fun playing Putt Putt. The had food and drinks. Walmart donated a Wii to a happy but shy winner. Then then the regular tournament began under a 50's theme. Finger foods came first, followed by putt putt practicing. Everyone started by a modified shot-gun start. Lots of fun trying for hole in ones as well as the maximum 5 strokes per hole. This was followed by a run off of the top 18 golfers. The first place winner, Jerry received a trophy (that he donated) and a $100 Walmart gift certificate. Another $100 Walmart gift certificate was awarded to Jill. All proceeds goes to FISH & LOAVES COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY - the founder and chair Rev. Geoffrey Druchas was in attendance. It is a great way to have fun for a very worthy and timely cause. |
