Plymouth Rotary - Scholarship Event

The annual High School Senior Scholarship Event featured Vocational/Technical Career, Memorial and Academic Excellence Award Recipients.  The Vocational/Technical Recipients. are Andrew Greneisen - Culinary Arts, Alyssa Letherwood - Marketing, April McLaughlin - Nursing, Kara Smith - Nursing, Mark Widak - Automotive Technician, Matthew Olsen - Culinary Arts, Mohammad Bute - Nursing.

Chairperson GARY DAVIS announced the Memorial Scholarships, which are worth $1,000 per year for four years. The purpose is to recognize community service of students having a minimum grade point average of 3.00 and financial need. Ordinarily 35 apply, but this year the committee had 66 applicants of whom 3 were selected. Jonathon Alverio, Paul Kitti, and Leslie Weisz were the winners. 

The Academic Excellence Award Recipients. are Megan Ghosting - Biomedical Engineering, Matthew Lang - Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Katherine Marion - Physics & Chemistry, Linda Ling - History & Journalist, Willa Chen - Mathematics & Complex Computer Models
