Grosse Ile Rotary Club - Christmas Luncheon

The Grosse Pointe Rotary Club hosted the internationally renowned Grosse Pointe South High School Choir Pointe Singers. The Pointe Singers under Ellen Bowen's direction group has won three Showstoppers Grand Championships and was Honors Choir for Showstoppers at the Marriott Marquis in New York City 2002-2005 as well as at Disney in 2007 . The Pointe Singers have been featured performers with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for over 50 performances and will again in December of 2008 be featured in the DSO Holiday Pops Concerts Dec. 18-21st. . Most recently the choirs have performed with the Professional Detroit Chamber Winds throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area. On Dec. 14th, 2008 they again performed together at Christ Church, Grosse Pointe. They have performed throughout Russia, Romania, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Prague, and again Spain in 2008.  Richard Wolf was the accompanist.
