District 6400 Assembly District Governor Neil McBeth hosted the annual District Assembly at the Southgate Holiday Inn. The District Assembly is a training session for all Rotary Club Officers/Directors and interested Rotarians. It is the last event in the annual trining cycle. International Assembly, Assistant District Governor Training, President Elect Training Seminar, and the District Team Training Seminar preceeded the District Assembly. At the same time District Governor Nominee Kim Towar started training 34 Club Presidents for 2010-11. Over 225 Rotarians were in attendance. District 6400 had the honor of having PRIP Wilf Wilkinson say some opening remarks. DG Bruce also had a chance to award District Simpfied grants to four Rotary Clubs. The Distirict Assembly presentations included Rotary Foundation Future Visioning, Membership, Service Projects, Secretaries & Treasurers, YEO Counselor Training, Rotary Foundation, PR & Communication and Club Leadership Plan After a buffet lunch, DGE Neil gave a closing speech about RI & his emphases.
