WSU Rotaract Club Fund Raiser Wayne State Rotaract Club held its first major fundraiser. Its Righteously Rocking for Rotaract Event drew a nice crowd. Rotaract members were selling fundraising tickets as well as collecting donations toward several community causes, such as Vista Maria, Freedom House and Beyond Basics all which aid children and families in the inner city. Thanks to sponsorship from the Plymouth Rotary Club and the Detroit Noon and AM Clubs, along with area businesses, many prizes including Red Wing Hockey tickets, restaurant packages and a day spa package. District Governor Jennifer Jones is pictured with the Rotaract President and Hannah Kelley, who is leaving in February to Chile as an outbound Ambassadorial Scholar. The following pictures show a picture of the club with our District Governor, representatives of the Detroit AM Club, and the Plymouth Club. Other pictures depict Rotaract members setting up for the event, early performers and pictures of friends and donors to the causes. The Cass Cafe' was a truly groovy place to hold a fundraiser.
