Shoeboxes for Nicaragua Children PDG Larry and Sarah Wright led an International Rotary Project of assembling Shoeboxes Cartons filled with practical gifts for Chinandega, Nicaragua children of ages toddlers to teenagers. Also Liz Smith led a team of volunteers to assemble 75 layettes for mothers in Chinandega Over 80 volunteers from 12 Rotary Clubs came to the Taylor Wal-Mart store. Store Manager Chris Coffman graciously offered storage, and assembling space as well as providing luncheon food and free shipping of all cartons. District 6630 PDG Jack Young & Marsha Pappalardo traveled to Taylor to deliver 200 Shoeboxes for shipment. Over 500 Shoeboxes were filled by D-6400 volunteers and friends.in assembly line fashion from 9 to 3 PM.
