Parade of Lights - Romulus Rotary The 9th Annual "Parade of Light", that was sponsored by the Romulus Rotary Club, kicked off the Romulus Pumpkin Festival on September 14th. Romulus Rotary Club President Brian Oakley chaired this community event. With the dedicated efforts of many of the members of the Rotary Club, the night time parade continues to delight spectators with the wonderful variety of fully lit commercial, non-commercial and non-motorized entries. This year any festival participant has as opportunity to judge the entries by ballot. There was prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category. The Parade began 8 PM from the City Hall and continued through downtown Romulus to the Romulus Wesleyen Church parking lot. Then the Pumpkin Festival continues for the rest of the weekend.
